Wedding video editing in Chennai
Fourteen hours of footage contains about four minutes anyone will rewatch. My job is finding those four minutes and cutting them so they still land on the tenth viewing.

How I cut a wedding
Most wedding edits are built chronologically — arrival, ceremony, meal, reception — which is how the day happened but not how anyone remembers it. I select for feeling instead, then let the order follow.
The mother watching from the third row is usually a better shot than the ceremony itself.

All of it, once, marking the moments that hold — not the ones on the shot list.

Find the audio spine
A vow, a speech line, a laugh. The film is built on that, not on the music.

Rough cut for approval
Structure and pacing first, before time goes into colour and titles.

Grade, mix, deliver
Colour matched across cameras, audio cleaned, exports for TV and for phones.
What footage I need from you
I edit; I don't shoot. If your videographer supplies these, the edit goes smoothly.

All camera cards, unedited
Original files, not a pre-trimmed selection. Compressed re-exports lose grading headroom.

Separate audio, if recorded
A lapel or recorder track transforms the vows section. Camera-mic audio rarely survives a hall.

Names and correct spellings
For titles. A misspelt name in a wedding film is the one mistake nobody forgives.

Anyone who must appear
Grandparents, a relative who travelled far. Tell me before the cut, not after.

A music direction
A reference track or a mood. I supply licensed music matched to it.

A hard disk, ideally
For a full wedding, couriering a drive across Chennai beats uploading half a terabyte.
