The four-metre test
Before anything is approved I print it, tape it to a wall and walk back four metres. From there a poster has to deliver three things in this order, and nothing else matters until they land.

Offer, date, venue. The three details people actually stop for, set large enough to read from where they are standing.

How do I act on it?
Phone number, QR, address. This is the only part that belongs at small size, because by now they have walked over.
Most flyers fail because everything is set at the same weight, so the eye finds no entry point and moves on.
