Chennai, Tamil Nadu
One person, from the brief to the final file.
I'm Kavin Arulraj. I design and edit for businesses in Chennai — logos and packaging one week, a website or a wedding film the next. Six years of it, and still the same setup: you talk to me, and I do the work.

How I got here
I started with video. Cutting event footage for people who needed it back by Monday taught me pacing before it taught me anything about taste — you learn quickly which shot earns its three seconds when someone is watching over your shoulder.
Design came from the same clients. A restaurant that needed a reel also needed a menu, then a logo, then a sign board. Rather than send them elsewhere, I learned to do it properly: type, print specs, dielines, the parts that go wrong at the press rather than on screen.
Websites followed for the same reason. A brand that looks right on a card and falls apart on a phone is only half finished.
So now the three sit together, and that turns out to be the useful part. A logo I design gets applied by me on the packaging, the site and the video titles — nothing gets lost in a handoff, because there isn't one.
How I work
-
I quote before I start
Scope, price and delivery date in writing. The number at the end is the number we agreed at the start.
-
I show work in context
On a shutter, a shelf, a feed, a phone. Never floating on a white slide where everything looks fine.
-
I say no to the wrong job
If your deadline or budget doesn't fit what you're asking for, you'll hear it on the first call, not the last.
-
You get the source files
Editable files, every time. You're never stuck waiting on me for a small change two years later.
-
One point of contact
No account manager relaying your feedback. You message me, I answer, the change happens.
-
I stay past delivery
Printer queries, a resize, a file in another format — those are part of the job, not a new invoice.
